Flashpoint Chicago’s New Campus FAQs

We compiled the following questions to provide answers to your questions relating to our new campus location at Roosevelt University.

Tuition & Fees

No.  Tuition for Flashpoint Chicago students will remain the same.


Yes, at some point in the future FC students will have access to RU’s dorm facilities.

No. Flashpoint Chicago will remain independent of Roosevelt University, and therefor, their housing requirement for incoming freshmen is not a requirement for Flashpoint Chicago students.


Yes, you will receive the same degree you enrolled in.

Yes, you will take the same classes as the program you enrolled in.

You will have the same full time faculty and many of the same adjuncts. Adjunct faculty do come and go from one quarter to the next, so there may be new teachers regardless of the move.

Yes.  We encourage you to talk to your advisor before enrolling in any RU classes to make sure they meet your degree requirements.


This is a positive change that will provide our students, faculty and staff a high quality experience.

Students will have access to the same campus facilities and resources that are available to the Roosevelt University students.

The Flashpoint Chicago campus of Columbia College Hollywood is not enrolling new students. We invite you to explore studying Cinema and Digital Media Arts online or at our main campus in the heart of the entertainment capital of the world, Los Angeles.
