Services for Students with Disabilities

Flashpoint Chicago does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of physical or mental disability. To ensure equal access to its programs and activities, the College is committed to providing reasonable accommodations, including appropriate auxiliary aids and services, academic adjustments (inside or outside the classroom), and/or modification to the College’s policies and procedures, to qualified individuals with disabilities, unless providing such accommodations would result in an undue burden or fundamentally alter the nature of the relevant program or activity. The College’s ADA/504 Coordinator is responsible for determining appropriate accommodations.

All facilities and programs have been designed for the accommodation of all our employees, students, and patrons. Flashpoint has restroom and classroom facilities to accommodate handicapped persons. Entrance into the facility is also handicapped accessible.

Students with disabilities are responsible for contacting the ADA/504 Coordinator to request accommodations. Schools are restricted from seeking out students with disabilities due to privacy laws. Therefore, please make a request for the services you believe you need.
