With almost 20 years of professional video production, management and technical experience combined with creative conception and execution, John Petrosky is uniquely qualified for the role of Studio Manager at Flashpoint Chicago. His experience ranges from a one-man-band production department all the way up to being an integral part of a network broadcast team. Along the way, he has worked with a number of corporations and other organizations on sales and training videos as well as several TV stations starting in Indiana before moving into the Chicago market. There he covered not only historical figures such as Rod Blagojevich and Barack Obama but also historical events such as Chicago’s Olympic bid and the White Sox World Series win. John also was also part of the team that built the CBS Broadcast Facility (where the Film studio is now located) in addition to being part of the team that re-built and upgraded the Univision Chicago facilities. His focus is on three things: hands-on/technical, problem-solving and customer/client satisfaction….and now students! In his first two months with TFA, he built the new Broadcast Studio 505 where he co-teaches with the several other department instructors when not managing the CBS Studio as well as Studio 505.
